This specific kind of hyalite opal—lovingly referred to as “bubble opal”—is only found in one place in the world in Milford, Utah. It’s a special type of Opal-A that has a white shimmer, sometimes with sprinkles of rainbow chatoyance seen throughout the stone.

Though the stone ranges from a clear quartz to a white, I backed the opals with colorful stones like malachite, lapis lazuli, chrysocolla, and phosphosiderite to add some extra color to these incredible stones to enhance their beauty.
