Yoga Triskelion Pendant
The triskelion is a symbol of Sicily which depicts a three-legged woman with Medusa’s head in the center. Encompassing virtues of fertility, strength, and femininity, when I first finished this piece, I couldn’t help but think of this symbol.
This inlay is a little bit larger than my other statement pieces at about 2 x 1.8 x 0.35 inches, and crafted with 19 hand-cut pieces of jade, epidote-magnetite Pochuck gneiss, and ocean jasper for a mellow color palette.
